Message frequency may vary, and you can opt-out at any time by replying STOP to any message."
Physical Sign-Up Sheets
During church events or services, attendees provided their phone numbers on sign-up sheets clearly labeled:"By signing up, you agree to receive SMS updates from Spring of Life Oromo Church. Message frequency may vary, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any message."
Text-to-Join Campaigns
Attendees opted in by texting the keyword JOINSOLOC to a designated number displayed during church services or events. Subscribers received an automated confirmation:"Thank you for subscribing to updates from Spring of Life Oromo Church! Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe."
Record of Consent
Spring of Life Oromo Church securely maintains records of all opt-in activities, including:
The timestamp of when consent was provided.
The method used to opt in (e.g., online form, physical sign-up, or text-to-join).
The phone number of the individual.
